On Sunday the 16th of March the Colts play Selby at home. The match will kick-off at 1pm.

This is the final league game of the season and a bonus point win will secure the Yorkshire league title. Jack McPhillips, one of the team coaches advises

“I believe that a Yorkshire Colts League has not been won by Middlesbrough for a significant period of time. This colts team is talented and it is an example of how well our junior section is thriving. The lads are currently top of the table and playing some great rugby.

This is a very competitive league with some big name teams involved such as Wharfedale, York, Ilkley, Otley and our opponent Selby.

Notably, 7 of the current colts team have already played senior rugby this season which is a great achievement.

Please come and support the lads on Sunday.

With no first team game this weekend, I’m asking that all those that usually support on a Saturday to come down this Sunday and support this next crop of senior players. Let’s see all our usual supporters and committee members on the touch line.”

In the only other senior game this weekend, the A Team travel to Darlington. Note for anyone who is going to this game. It has been arranged for s 2pm kick-off to facilitate players and supporters getting out in time to watch England as they take on Wales at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday.
