In preparation of the upcoming season, a group of twenty or so MRUFC team members attended a day out at Low Force on the River Tees on Saturday 13 July.
New coach Ollie arranged the fun day with activities that included white water tubing of the low force rapids rapids on a rubber ring, a little body surfing and jumping from the banks into the warm River Tees. Although, the experience was a fun day out, there was also a serious side. Activity days like these promote team building by helping improve moral, encouragement and a can do attitude: both as an individual and as a team.
Feedback from the team on their return from the activity day was positive. The team enjoyed the day out although there were a few bruises and complaints of being cold. However, everyone survived and believed the day was worthwhile.
